Vale do Lobo is a long established development on the Algarve, with a reputation that precedes itself, as a resort which is immaculately maintained with constant upgrades of new facilities.

Vale do Lobo consists of 1500 and 50 co-ownership beautiful properties, over 450 hectares, already built along Vale do Lobo 2km golden beach and intertwined with two championship golf courses:

A range of boutiques in Vale do Lobo Shopping – centrally situated in Parque do Golfe - offer souvenirs, designer golf wear, glamorous jewellery, beautiful interior decoration pieces, wines, spirits and gourmet nibbles.

For the culinary connoisseur, 15 first class restaurants are located throughout the resort, where diners can enjoy a number of casual and fine dining options of international cuisine ranging from Asian to French, Italian to Portuguese seafood specialities meanwhile, an exciting programme of cultural events, including art exhibitions at Vale do Lobo Art Gallery, concerts, ballets and theatrical performances in the modern Auditorium, ensures that there are endless things to do and see year-round.

All these facilities are available next to the beach, in the golf club and by the main entrance. The large swimming pool area and children’s pool is also located in front of the beach.

The resort has its own Medical Centre, security staff and a closed circuit TV system, with a view to creating an environment where owners, guests and their families feel completely safe.

A regular, complimentary shuttle bus service carries owners and guests around the resort so all facilities are easily accessible.

SPORTS / ACTIVITIES:

Vale do Lobo prides itself on offering the most extensive range of sporting and leisure facilities in the Algarve, with something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Many different sports are available, including water and beach sports, mini-golf, football, spinning and yoga – but the most popular are, without a doubt, tennis and golf.

With regards to the golf, there are 2 challenging golf courses with its natural beauty.

These are:

• THE ROYAL GOLF COURSE

The Royal Golf Course has rolling fairways set amidst pine trees and beautiful lakes surrounded by wild flowers. Its features include the almost island green of the 9th and the famous 16th, with cliff-top carryover – one of the most celebrated golfing images in the world, which has become the veritable symbol of golf in the Algarve.

• THE OCEAN GOLF COURSE

The Ocean Golf Course features undulating fairways which run alongside nature reserve, before leading gently down to the shores of the Atlantic. Its emblematic holes are two challenging and spectacular Par 4s, the 11th and the 14th – which treat golfers to some of the most spectacular views in the Algarve - and the Par 3 15th, which runs alongside the beach.

The exclusive TENNIS ACADEMY one of the largest tennis centres in Portugal, with 14 courts, a paddle tennis court and other facilities including an outdoor swimming pool. Every August the Vale do Lobo Grand Champions tournament brings legends such as McEnroe, Cash, Courier and Borg to the resort.

Also, now available there is the NEW ROYAL SPA and FITNESS CENTRE.

The Royal Spa at Vale do Lobo is a world of absolute relaxation and comfort, where the sound of running water melts into the scent of essential oils, as one lets go of the stresses of the world outside.

A wide variety of treatments are available, ranging from the absolutely natural – such as herbal therapies, traditional Oriental cures and Swedish massage – to the latest vitamin-enriched treatments and cosmetic medicine.

The Fitness Centre, bright and spacious, overlooking the gardens of Parque do Golfe, is equipped with the most up-to-date Technogym fitness and weight training equipment.

Classes such as spinning, dance and yoga are available, as well as personal training sessions.

Also includes an indoor swimming pool.

ACTUAL AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS

There are plans for approximately 500 more property opportunities, these areas are under development and are the new:

• VALE REAL (Vale do Lobo III)

Vale Real was released for development at the end of 2005. Premium land intertwining with the greens of the Royal Golf Course, this development will eventually accommodate 283 luxury residences – including custom-built villas, linked villas and apartments. The first phase of development is underway, with installation of the necessary infrastructures.

They are also on the first phase of the development which will include a five-star hotel with 159 bedrooms and 43 luxury one and two bedroom serviced apartments.

• OCEANO CLUBE (Vale do Lobo II)

Some of the last true beachfront land available in Portugal, Oceano Clube directly overlooks the Atlantic waves and is flanked by nature reserve. The area is primarily given over to plots for customised villas, some of which remain available for sale.

• VALE de SANTO ANTÓNIO

The latest luxury development recently introduced to Vale do Lobo is ‘Vale de Santo Antonio’. Located just after the Tennis centre and comprising of an area of 8.5 hectares with construction just started, this year in 2008. There will be a total of 119 residencies ranging from two bedroom apartments, two and three bedroom townhouses, semi-detached and detached villas.

The club members association (CMA) is an organisation voted for by club members to liaise with Vale do Lobo management on issues of joint concern to oversee the interest of members throughout the year.

CMA represent the majority of property owners before public and private entities and also develops social, cultural and sporting activities for its members, family and guest. Therefore owners are able to voice their opinions and interest in the well being of Vale do Lobo.
